I get inspired by the colors – by the shape and by the tremendous feeling nature provides for free.
I love the hard work making the loamy dirt more welcoming for the seedlings and get rewarded tenfold.

In the hot sun dunes grass and roses
Woven and rooted deep in the sand
Bending but rising from any wind
Gulls on the shore head tucked back
Waiting for the storm looking like
They will wait forever the tide always floods again
The moon always comes around
Everything here waits

Meet the Painter Welcome to my blog. This is written for you my readers and you who collect my paintings.
Because you are interested in my work you naturally want to know more about the creator - me - and that is why I started to write a bit about myself and the person behind the art work.
I have my studio in Abbotsford B.C. Canada but grew up on the small Island of Sylt in the German Noth Sea, the beginning of my fascination with water and the sky.
Please, feel free to email if you have any questions or comments!
