I follow you out into open water
Hovering between blue and green
Never looking up; never looking back
Deep into the abyss under endless surges
You erode me and rebuild me
Washing over me in swells and fingers
You speak . . . → Read More: Water Ways

Sandra asked me the other day to write a few things down about the Island where I lived for the first 16 years of my life, so of course the memories just came in – in mounts, it drove me to do a little painting as well, so here is a little abstraction of . . . → Read More: A SQUALL

Close to shore
Das Meer (the Sea) is pulling and tugging until the ebb tide is fulfilled

Meet the Painter Welcome to my blog. This is written for you my readers and you who collect my paintings.
Because you are interested in my work you naturally want to know more about the creator - me - and that is why I started to write a bit about myself and the person behind the art work.
I have my studio in Abbotsford B.C. Canada but grew up on the small Island of Sylt in the German Noth Sea, the beginning of my fascination with water and the sky.
Please, feel free to email if you have any questions or comments!
