 Welcome to my blog. This is written for you my readers and you who collect my paintings. Because you are interested in my work you naturally want to know more about the creator - me - and that is why I started to write a bit about myself and the person behind the art work. I have my studio in Abbotsford B.C. Canada but grew up on the small Island of Sylt in the German Noth Sea, the beginning of my fascination with water and the sky. Just a beautiful piece. I can actually hear the crash and roar of the surf. The lighting is beautiful too. Seems to be a struggle between the darkness of the storm and the golden promise of the light that is coming.

Beautiful! And I LOVE the remnants of the rusty barriers…
Yes they make grate sculptures but did not work too well either ( Uferbefestigung) – shoreline stabilization first they worked with wooden poles, then this iron stuff, then cement blocks,the sea takes over every time
