OK - rainy season is over, stop painting that wet stuff
All painters do the poppy thing soon or later or at least ever so often, see the masters:
Emile Nolde
G O’Keeffe

Van Gogh
So nothing is stopping me to paint a few more poppies, they are just so tempting and the right color and these ones pop up all over the garden. See what I did before, with different poppies, there is always a reason or two - here

I LOVE the self-seeding poppy #2 – WOW, that one is just stunning with the perspective you’ve captured…
Yah, that is me, always trying something new, holding the camera under the red poppy.
I have really enjoyed looking through your blog and like your work. The poppies are wonderful and I cannot pick a favorite. They all appeal to me for different reasons.
I came over from DPW Challenge as I was intrigued by your landscape. I will be back.
Hi again, Julie
Glad you like to read my blog, I just do what comes into my mind, used to worry a lot before now I just do.
I am curious to find out what blog platform you have been
working with? I’m experiencing some small security issues with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more secure. Do you have any solutions?
Hi bucketsflowers I sent your question to my manager,Clemens it the one who looks after my blog

I really love the painting of the poppie based on the photograph taken from the ground pointing up…that is such a neat idea!
Hi Michi, thanks, sometime I just have to do some realistic paintings to get grounded again.
