The other day I set up my last large canvas (36×36) onto my easel – had nothing specific in mind just needed to start something – color red is good – Naples yellow always close by and so it went, to my surprise I grabbed for Payne’s grey and on we go, many hours later the painting was done , next day it needed some tweaking ( for me – a modern word, not used normally for finishing a painting – shows you how our language is changing just as the painting world ) but what surprised me the most was the title I choose and could not think of any better – so here it is
“Before I Die”

It’s beautiful, and we will have a long, long time to discuss the title!
The one green leaf really jumps out
See, that’s it, what it is all about – one green leave – green is hope!
